Now that depends on how much you put on the rag, do you ..

Just put small dribbles on or do you like to work hard and just let it gush onto the rag?.

I would generally start on the upper areas of the bonnet..
a generous spurt over the nipples (taking care not to block the jets) and rub well in until you can see your face in her.
Then I would continue with the skirt and valance before moving on to a thorough interior workover.

I did use to work this way but had problems with chaffing on the exhaust, blown rings and emissions issues.
