![]() Evening all,
Just wondered if there is anyone else on the forum into old watches and clocks? If not, this will be a short thread! I have over the last couple of months started collecting pocket watches and clocks. Mainly from the late 19th century/early 20th..

![]() I like my clocks and watches...I've 28 watches and a few clocks, I'm waiting on a wire for a Kundo Clock at the moment, the one that supports the lower weights if you understand me. I've just refurbed my hall clock and I'm setting the pendulum over the next few days to get it timing right.

![]() I've got a few watches, but I'm not into pocket watches or clocks.
I've a soft spot for Seiko's, particularly the 6138 and 6139 calibres. |

![]() We bought a cuckoo clock in a Wareham charity shop a couple of weeks back. £3 needing attention. My wife who has always wanted one, took it out of the bag, untangled the weight chains, assembled it & it works lovely though we haven't got the pendulum adjustment right yet for totally accurate timekeeping. It's good fun though.

![]() My going out watch tends to be a 1975 6105-8110, or a 1970's Orange dialled Le Forban Securite Mer....... massive case, and it weighs a ton. You could use it to hammer nails ![]() |

![]() The only Seiko I have is a Kinetic. I have had it for many years and wear it daily. Brilliant watch but I do wish it was mechanical.
I have got rather a fancying for a Poljot automatic watch but they are very expensive. I like the idea of one because I don't know anyone with one! I think the Cyrillic text on them is unusual as well. I have a 1950/1960's watch that I wear at the weekends when I am not doing anything dirty that is branded Ansol. I expect that was the shop it was sold in though. It came from Austria but was made in Switzerland.
