"Dad you know how you say we should be a little independent when it comes to making ourselves lunch, without having to depend on you and mum all the time?"

Dad: "Yes that's right, you're 14 now, and we are only giving you our advice from when we were that age."

Daughter: "Yes, that's fair enough, I'm making beans on toast."

Dad: "See, I know you could do it, well done."

Daughter: "Dad."
