Looks great!...
I did the same about 18 months ago. The only problem I had was that the MDF cover had sagged over the years and wouldn't sit down flat. I needed to reverse everything on the MDF cover and now it's fine.
The main problem with the 'space saver' on our 'aging' vehicles is the probable age of the tyre, which could make it unsafe to use, even in an emergency.

I will try a bit harder then if you look at the alloy wheel towards the back of the car on the rim it appears to be flat,is that good enough?

The originator was trying to share his good fortune with the rest of the forum only to be shot down in flames as to the possibility that the wheel might have a flat spot, and when asked by someone else who clearly does not understand what this means HE is then in turn shot down in flames.

I honestly this forum is going downhill, I have been visiting this forum for 10 years now and I really don't like what is happening now, I was under the impression we were trying to help others less learned.

To be honest, I ain't got a flaimin clue what your on about...

some sharp eyed folks have spotted a thing the OP possibly did not, and save them fitting the wheel to find it judders like hell or worse still puts it on to fail an MOT or have the tyre go belly up at speed due to damage in the area, should you say nowt and smile or tell the poor NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- what you have seen...

you must need a step ladder to get on and off of that high horse mate....

Totally agree i downloaded a photo of my engine bay, and was told my intercooler hose was in desperate need of replacing. I was grateful for that as i had no experience to notice the fault myself. Also told my ashtray was full but that's another story.
