Default Proposed Northumbrian Meet

Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the clubs public liability insurance.
Also the owners club take no responsibility for the meet in any way.

This is just a tickler to see if anyone's interested in a Northumbrian meet with a difference.
My plan is to hold it at the QE2 Country Park at Woodhorn nr. Ashington.

What we've got is a Country Park with a huge FREE carpark a Premier Inn & Brewer's Fayre pub/restaurant on site & also Woodhorn Colliery Museum is just a short walk through the trees & is also a FREE facility.

Now I was thinking to make it as intersting as possible this could be the sequence of events:

Saturday:
If people can make it for around lunch time then we could have a scenic road run ending up in Alnwick where we could have a ride on Dreadnought Coaches' vintage open topper on the Alnwick Sightseeing Tour, then Sat eveneing a meal at the nearby Widdrington Inn for some proper good value pub grub & then back to the Woodhorn Grange for drinks & socialising or if preffered just have the meal at the Grange followed by the social evening

Sunday:
Make it as lazy as you like & meet up in the big carpark next to the lake for the tyre kicking & underbonnet stuff. The Museum as said above is just a short walk through the trees & people can just come & go as they please, then when you're bored with that you can all head off home or stay in the Premier for the night again & head off at your liesure on the Monday morning.

I'm thinking of sometime in May/June so could people let me know their thoughts please

I'm always a 'maybe' simply because I don't trust my car. I had a squirt of coolant out of the header tank at the beginning of the week but it might just have been that I didn't put the cap on properly when I checked it the day before. Nothing untoward since but you never know.

So many people put to much coolant in their cars without realising.
Put a torch behind the filler/reservoir tank and you can see the maximum line,
a lot, lot lower than most fill to.
