Default Geordie/Yorkie Meet

Hello all I enjoyed the Yorks/Mids meet so much I have decided to have a bash at organising one myself, now being in the frozen north I thought I'd start with one in the south of my region ie Co. Durham to attract the Yorkshire lot obviously anyone from any other region is welcome. I came up with 2 venues & emailed both
1 Durham Park & Ride right next to A1 huge car park & buses into Durham for the SWMBOs
2 Locomotion at Shildon they have a FREE events car park & FREE admission to the railway museum

Sadly Durham P&R dont operate on Sundays so that's out but Locomotion said we would be more than welcome. Now I haven't planned a date as yet but was thinking possibly September but not the same weekend as Derek's Scottish Meet as I'll be up there.

Locomotion can cater for up to 250 cars in their events car park so dont be shy

If I can generate enough interest then I'll confirm dates etc. with Locomotion
SO WHO'S UP FOR IT?

Depending on the date, I'd be up for it; depends on my shifts.

I've had further communication with Locomotion & they have a couple of other events on in september so the best 2 dates would be either be Sunday 13th or Sunday 27th. What do people think & I'll get the ball rolling

Regards Col

Good good! I've emailed Locomotion again to check which date is best so I'll start an official thread once it's confirmed
