Default Rear view camera on a tourer

Has anyone fitted one and where did you fit it as you cannot fit in the middle as you have the button to release the boot lid?

Drilled a hole in the middle of the bumper and fed the wires through the grommet on the drivers side for the towing electrics.

Bumper off job which is fairly straightforward as you need the feed the wires round the polystyrene bumper fillers .

Not too bad a job to do

I fitted one to my Tourer between one of the number plate lights and one of the mounting screws of the chrome plinth thing, see pic.
Works fine but I need to readjust it's aim as all I can see on screen is the floor up to about five foot behind the Tourer Ooops, lol
Will have to remove camera and change it's aim a bit when I get time

I'm about to fit mine, puting it off because I'm not sure about the best position.

I was thinking of fixing it on the centreline , on top of the number plate, Its a big plate and there is plenty of real estate there.

Any thoughts on that?
