Camshaft sensor
Hi,
I've been getting a fault message on the Torque app regarding the camshaft sensor. No symptoms yet, but thought I'd best get a new sensor for the day it actually packs in. I found this cam sensor on Ebay brand new, including cable and plug. I can't quite believe the price of £15, so I thought I'd take a chance and order one, I'll let you know how it works out when I've fitted it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New...IAAOSwMOVcUJtD Phil |

A good spot!
It doesn't look much different that the current OEM MGR ones, which are knocked up in Egypt. Like the one on the right here: At that price I might order one up, as a spare.

Looks like mine's on the way out too. I just got one of these, are you going to do a 'how to' regarding fitting it Phil?

I think there is one already, It really is a simple 5 minute job.
The sensor is right in front of the oil filler cap, look down when you open the bonnet and you will see it. |

Good tip, thought I'd be quick and order the last one!
Until I saw the postage cost, £19.95 - to me in Sweden, ridiculous that postage is more than the sensor. Someone else can have it. Thanks anyway |
