Well I like it. I'm asking for practical views and sympathy not views on London. Which is my country.

I like the mayor. I just don't like getting rid of my car. It's lovely and lots of new parts make it like new.

When will you sell? I was thinking keep the 75 until end of 2020 then flogging it to a carrot cruncher.

I may well keep the car outside of London. Whatever anyone says, I can’t stand the Mayor. He won’t be getting my vote. He needs to get his priorities right, with more met police on the streets by upping their numbers, cutting back on crime, drugs and murders which have just hit 100 since the new year. I wouldn’t worry about people knocking London. It’s their view, which they are entitled to having. My wife and myself are fortunate to have an over 60’s travel card which gives us free travel on London Transport.

I can see why he's doing it, the less pollution in cities where large numbers of people live can only be a good thing.

I was in London early this year, it must have the best transport system in the UK. those living there are very lucky to have it, outside a couple of big cities public transport is poor. Many places have limited buses on a Saturday and none at all on a sunday.

Unfortunately, this is the sign of the times and things to come. Unless yours is a show stopper destined for a collector, I'm afraid our cars will soon be almost worthless.

sorry you like what? What has your country got to do with this discussion?
I was born in Shepards bush, lived in Acton and moved to Feltham and then Ashford (Middlesex). I find London too busy and noisy. Closest I now come to driving into London is the Target Roundabout on the A40.

Heathrow is within the M25, think of all the vehicles from outside the M25 that drive to Heathrow.
