Default FBH Cleaning with BG Fuel System Cleaner

I'm hoping to use the BG Fuel Cleaner to clean out my FBH.
The reason being the FBH does appear to emit fumes during start up and then run OK when hot.
As my FBH works below 5C, I will wait for cold weather to be forecast for some days and then pour the BG Cleaner into the fuel tank so the FBH will receive BG Cleaner at the same rate as the engine when it works.
Has anyone tried this? Does it work or am I being too optimistic?
Any advice please from those with more experience than me very welcome.

All you need to know about servicing the FBH is HERE

No need for any cleaners etc. Just a bit of knowledge, time, effort n elbow grease.

I was hopefull as well but sadly the way they coke up it is unlikely to help clean it up from what is already there. It might stop it getting worse though
