Tried something , I think it works......
Been wanting the FEEL of a wooden steering wheel for a while but not that keen on the look of the wood so this week I have been messing around with a badly faded wooden steering wheel kindly donated by a member here and this is the result went for black because I think its inkeeping with the rest of the cabin ......

It not only works, it looks fabulous, I've got a glove over my sandstone/walnut wheel, it's in excellent condition but I just like the feel of the chunkier wheel.
