Default Navall Rear Panel Power Socket.

Can anybody tell me the type of Power Socket fitted to Navall rear panel,.

It's the one that the ISO adaptor lead plugs in to. It is the 20 pin black socket, at the other end of lead.

I want to obtain some new cable connectors for it so that I can make up a custom lead.

Cheers

Alf........please don't

These connectors can be wired in different configurations and you run the very real risk of damaging your head unit.

If you want a new wiring loom for your unit we can send you one Sir

Hi Sir Jeff

Don't panic, I haven't done anything yet.

What I need is a new ISO lead between Navall 'Star' and grey car loom.
My intention was to make up a 'Longer' ISO lead, with the required 12v taps already either spliced into socket or lead.
The supplied ISO lead is not long enough for me to work with, especially as one needs to take 12v taps from it.
I need at least 2 supplies for DTV Aerials, One for WiFi unit for Rear Camera, and I was going to have a 'Flying' spare, for future use.

AS I previously mentioned, the supplied ISO lead is not long enough for me to work with. I have bad arthritis plus a missing fore-finger () and I need a longer lead by about 6". My plan is to a make an additional lead, with the required no. of 12v extra leads + earths, so that all I have to do at car is to connect in the extra supplies.

I would be wiring it up wire to wire, to correspond with the supplied ISO. So there you go. Or can I buy a specially made ISO Lead with at least Four 12v flying leads + earths from appropriate leads in the ISO ??

Can you help ?

Hi Alf.

Why not buy an ISO plug to ISO socket lead which will then give you some more length to play with and also allow you to splice your other cables in without modifying the Navall loom or the car loom

We sell then for £4.95 if you want one Alf

Hi Sir Jeff

Not exactly sure what you mean Sir Jeff. If you can guide me, and that's what I need, then I will buy one.

Getting earhole from missus this end, so whatever I do I've got to get it done, sharpish
ISO Plug to ISO Socket Lead. Who do I pay to get it on it's way quickly. You or Sean. You by Card, Sean by paypal ?

Whichever, some further advice is needed. And also this ISO Adaptor , Urgent.

I'm getting very stressed. Not good

The lead mentioned is this:

This will plug into the Navall loom you already have which will then extend it by about nine inches.
What you can also do is the extra power sources (for example, 12 volt active aerial) can be spliced into this lead rather than the Navall lead or the wiring loom of the car.

Very important!!! If you have a flying spare coming from it, whatever you do make sure it is fully insulated up so it cannot short out against any metal......for example the case work of the Navall Star!!!

Hope that kind of makes sense ?

These are our stock so you would pay us (Clacton Electronics Ltd) for them and they are £4.95 plus £1.20 P&P.

You can pay by phone order with Debit/Credit card but I would have to send this tomorrow not today as my car is at the garage at the moment.

Hi Sir Jeff

Thanks for quick reply and picture.

So, If I've got this right, I plug my ISO lead into 'Star'. I then plug the other end of my ISO into the 'Black' (or 'Brown' ?) of the double socket on NEW ISO Lead. Then plug the other end of NEW ISO lead into the 'Grey' car loom plug (which ever one it physically fits ?)

Does that make sense ? Hope so.

So I've 'Daisy Chained' the two ISO leads together and now have twice the length

Then I can take my 12v from the 2nd lead. I understand about well insulating any spare 12v lead.

If I've got it wrong, tell me where.

So, also I've ordered and paid for TPMS unit. I hope you had it in stock. If so, can you post together with ISO lead.

Cheers

Hi Alf,

You have got it Sir

The bad news is, no TPMS systems here at the moment but I'm pretty sure Sean said there is a stock delivery winging its way to us.

Do you want me to hold the ISO extension until it's here or send it separately ?
