Default Ram raid

Well today I was travelling over Muggleswick Common in Weardale with the caravan in tow, suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw a group of delinquent Sheep running through the heather towards the road, unfortunately with the caravan been on and a sheer drop to my left I had no option but to slow down steadily, sadly for the lead Sheep this was not suffice, and it ploughed head first into my driver's side wing.....

Well I pulled up, looked back at the body on the side of the road, and assessed the damage..... thankfully I have a spare bumper and wing.

Was the sheep dead? quite frankly I did not care..... Miles from anywhere, no one to report to, and I am certainly not in a position to deal with Sheep... plus had I gone back to find it OK ....I would probably have killed it for the damage it caused

A perfect case for paintless dent removal! I would have been gutted (he said sheepishly)!

Obviously a well cared for motor.

Bumper looks okay from that angle. ?

Wing not so good and that will not come out.!

If that was me i would have claimed the dead sheep as 'Road Kill'..Perfectly legal.

Fresh Lamb for a month.!!

To make up for the damage??

I dont want to be the one to bring any negativity to the post, but you really should have reported the incident to the Police, you still can (you are required by law).

Read HERE...

What to do if you accidentally hit an animal when driving

With the amount of sheep attacks lately regarding dog owners, farmers are furious.

That poor helpless sheep.

Why not state this in your original post, would have saved me from posting.

Sorry, but this sort of attitude really ticks me off.
