Thanks gents, unfortunately T4s are pretty rare over here, might try the old MGR dealer, they still do Landrover.
Hope as I already have a working key, they might just slug me lightly to get it to talk to the BCU !!! As you say having a spare key that starts the car at least is a good thing. Wonder how long it takes to match it to the BCU? |

Well, I can code you a key but it will only start your car,no remote key functions though and id need your EWS module anyway and im in Perth.
If you check ebay they sell the EWS Editor Lite pretty cheap. Between me and Brian (marinabrian) and PhilT4 you should be able to make your own keys. As Phil T4 says, we need a vurtual T4. I assume a VT4 codes the keys to work with the remote. What do these things cost ? At least as said I can code an extra key to run the car. |

What can I say swmbo likes it, I like it when it behaves. Not to mention that 1.8t 75 tourers are actually quite rare as well. Thing is we don't need to pull/carry heavy loads with it, or do lots of miles on a daily basis (so ruled out diesel). Just easier for going camping, especially with the muddy furry one (the dog) Fed up with my car getting messed up everytime we go away...

The good news is that there is no gunk in the cooling system, but a couple of the head bolts came out with mayo on them.
