Default Desperately need a dual mass for a cdti

hi
Yet again I have been let down by my new car, purchase a car from someone you think that's honest and bang.

My car is in bits now in a garage in Totnes and they want 789 for a clutch kit.
I need a dualmass ASAP if anyone has one local to torquay as apparently mine is beyond it darling must be woman's price @ 109000 miles on the clock.

Please help as I only got the car last month and I have already paid for a high pressure pump £370, master, cylinder, centric and clutch but the bloke that did this has vanishe, and now I'm havine to do it again.

Thanks all danni

Interesting comment and reassuring but I just wondered, If someone had kept driving with a badly slipping clutch could the DMF be heat damaged?.

Agreed, give Andy a call - he'll steer you in the right direction.
Mine was still within spec @ 178,000 miles.

Ditto, at 196K that was when Andy replaced the clutch and the DMF was Ok.
