Default Whats your plans for your pride and joy in 2015?

As 2015 is now approaching so thought would be interesting to hear what everyone has planned for their 75/ZT for the next year, what mods, improvements etc they have planned

When I first joined this forum, there were so many threads every month with new ideas and mods/improvements members had done to their cars, which has become quite rare lately. They were really interesting threads and some great ideas, some of which I've applied to my own cars.

Well I'll start it off, I'm currently sorting out wiring to retrofit cruise control to my ZT without the wiring loom in place. Got the cruise control parts and a member on here has kindly offered to get hold of the CC plugs which is fantastic . So hopefully CC will be up and running spring 2015.

I'm also planning on fitting Quad Exhaust outlets to my Zed in 2015 which is something I've wanted to do since I bought her. Probably wont be done until April hopefully in time for POL 2015. Had some spare time so made a little mock up today of what it would look like:

I quite like the tailpipe I currently have fitted to the zed so will just fit the exact same one to the other side.

I think I'll be stopping at that next year as I went a bit overboard with changed to my ZT this year !

What have others got planned for their pride and joy? Would be interesting to see

Rick

Some well thought out ideas there, Rick.
The only thing at the moment is to get my new car a 160 re-map ASAP!
Cheers,
Mike

Think I need to sort the leaks out. Needed a new HK and Sat drive.

Probably looking into a DD-unit and installing the dash-cam (already ordered)

Sort out the spare Xenon I have and polish the lenses.

Get the car a paint repair treatment to get rid of swirl marks and scratches

And buy a lottery ticket to make it all happen

I'd need to buy a lottery ticket just to buy a v8 and then insure it in the first place DD-unit is also on the list to do at some point on mine which one you looking to fit?

Well I am going to do the ATF on the ZTT 180 and try to repair the scrub on the rear door which should be fun as its Monogram Typhoon oh and it needs a new fan

Also thinking about adding some colour to the leather......

2014 was an expensive year for mine. Amongst other things, I got the belts done, 4 new road springs, tyres etc. All maintenance stuff really.
Having just wired in a rear view camera into the DD, the next item is going to be a dashcam, then maybe some upgraded speakers.

That's a shame, looks like a good example as well. Might just be the wrong time of the year to sell the car mate

I know how that problem feels! I'm going to buy some touch up paint for mine just to try and hide the stone chips a bit
