under bonnet detailing!
hi i finally managed to give the engine bay abit of a wash and brush up today.
and it has got me going! ive owned alot of cars in the past including many alfas and bmws to minis and williams clios and ive allways made and effort to get the engine bay clean and more then presentable but cant seem to find anything on the web for thesse cars witch doesnt surprise me but is frustrating so ive decided to have some parts chromed and try to put together a ull stainless stell nut and bolt set for every visible nut bolt and screw in the engine bay! but i was wondering and i know its a long shot but do the oil caps from a 1.8 k series fit the kv6? as i have found a few places selling alloy and chrome replacements?? many thanks matt |

Looking good. The oil cap from the K Series will fit the V6.
I have a rather nice black one fitted to my car, came off a 90's Rover 25 along with a black washer bottle cap. |

Hi Matt,
I was thinking of replacing my 75 engine bay nuts and washers etc to tidy it up a bit. I don't suppose you kept a list of how many is required and sizes? Regards Steve. |

I took the rubber washers off when I replaced the bolts with SS. Just though it looked better against the white.
