Wheeler Dealers
New series (17) looks good up to now He's back in the UK with a new mechanic and after the first 3 episodes, I'm hooked
First one was a 65 Mini 850, all original. The second was a TVR Griffin, and just watched the 3rd, Fiat coupe 20 valve turbo, very interesting |

Those Fiat Coupes especially in 20V form were a good piece of kit, engine out for a timing belt I remember but apart from that and of course Rust were incredible at the time.

This one had 180 bhp after the initial dyno run, they rebored the turbo and fitted a bigger fan blade, changed the belt ( engine lifted, not fully out) reconnected a broken pipe, fitted a retuned chip, then, back on the dyno, it made 309 Sold for 6K

I like Elvis (not the singer) he seems like a really decent bloke and was well liked on the F1 circuits.
Loved the TVR, also keep an eye out for Ed China on YouTube, he updates every Friday and it is basically like Wheelers nut with less of the TV hype and he is very good at showing the process in depth and answers sent in questions. |

I'll have to wait a year or two for the new series to appear on Dave.
I went off the series a bit while they were in America. I never liked the Ant Anstead stuff much either - the interactions between him and Mike seem too contrived. |
