Default Removing master cylinder and servo

Does the detachable panel in front of the servo have to removed as Haynes states? Accessing two of the bolts is virtually impossible with the engine in, also the insulation panel in front of cannot be removed without cutting it where it goes underneath the air-con pipes. I’d appreciate some advice please

You can just remove the plastic nuts and let the insulation hang loose on the drivers side.

All bolts are accessible although some are difficult to access, remove the wiper assembly to allow yourself as much room as possible.

Thanks Trikey. Bottom inner bolt can’t get fingers onto with the insulation loose and not yet found the fifth one. I may end up cutting the insulation adjacent to the air con pipes.
All this is to find the serious water leak of rain into the cabin which floods down behind the pedals.
Further thought might it be entering via the roof strips and running down the A-post? Yet the front sill is rust free, and no, the car does not have a sun roof

I think before i removed it all i would run a hosepipe slowly around it all to see if it then leaks, if not then run it around the windscreen and recheck

Poured loads of water into the plenum chamber, also flooded water into the roof strips and around the windscreen.
No water coming into the cabin so I’m back to square one. Waiting for more heavy rain.

Incidentally I’ve concluded it’s impossible to gain proper access to remove parts to remove the servo without removing the V6 inlet manifold
