Default Considering upgrading Air Filter

Hi All

Now my ZT has easily passed another mot, I'm planning a good service. I'm thinking about changing the standard air filter to either a pipercross or K&N, or even a cone filter. Also thinking about upgrading the plugs to iridium.

Do these actually make a difference or is it just hype (and noise)? Which is preferred option?

Any advice is appreciated

Hmm, lots of lovely warm (less dense) air being sucked in there with that type of design. Nice cold air design would be much better.

As I said Gary, I do have a heat shield fitted, and the filter sits above the cold air feed from the shannon tube Anyway, it's not like I race about

I have a K&N in the standard airbox on the V6, I think that's a nice compromise.
