Default Hi all, help required re my new 75

Hi all, not been on for a while but my 75 has now become 2 75s

I saw this red one heading for breakers, it’s far too good for that so I have saved it

I do have a few questions but I will start with the fob, it won’t unlock the car at all, any doors, but will lock it

I have tried re connecting the fob, the red light doesn’t illuminate when I press open but does on close

I assume the fob is dead? If so we’re can I get a replacement from near Doncaster ideally?

I am hoping to use this toad system to as I have failt code p167 whatever that is!

Thanks all, any help appreciated

Guess you mean TOAF - seen auto correct change the name a few times.

Have you just the one key? You could open up the keyfob and spray some contact cleaner on the two micro-switches, even try pressing the switches once exposed as it's possible the keyfob plastic isn't engaging correctly. A different s/h remote board is a possible solution too but you'll need to get Toaf up and running first with version .43.

Sorry, think your fault code might be missing a digital, usually a four digit code after the P.

Regards

Hi Iain
sounds like you need a new circuit board in your remote, Not a problem to sort out, If your code is P0167 then it is the lambda sensor, check the wiring to the rear sensor near the heat shield as ive seen a few where it has chafed through

Thumbs up Try Jamie

When I had real fob problems I sent it to club member Jamiewelch . Excellent service. He has also helped me out on other things . Try him.
All the best.
PS - thinking of saving a local , blue 75 myself but will have to overcome the boss here at home first because she says I have too many already!

Hi all thank you so much!

Firstly I’m sorry my code is P1637 & p0000??

I have tried to use the remote without the case but still
Nothing

I’m
Currently having the toaf uploaded onto my laptop, I’m ok with engines but not technical lol

Do I need to pay to do this? And could I use another fob if that makes sense?

Thanks all loads

P0000 is saying no trouble codes generated and P1637 is flagging a connection fault between the ABS sensor and the ECM so a CANbus fault - you will need to check the wiring between the ECM and the ABS sensor.

P1637 Can Link ECM/ABSCM Circuit / Network Malfunction
