G'day strangers. You may have noticed (or not!) that I've been absent on parade for a week now. Suffice to say I am SERIOUSLY under the weather and currently undertaking a series of xrays and blood tests. I will return to the fold when I have a wee bit more strength to push the laptop keyboard.

I bailed on going to do the big shop with the missus, I'd lost the will to live after taking her for a blood test & waiting an hour in the waiting room wi a mask on, It's just too hot for this lad

Just found out my younger brother(64) is in a bad way, He's been passing blood in buckets for a while & done nowt about it Never did the bowel cancer test kits they sent him Yesterday had him at the doctors because he was passing what resembled raw liver, He's now waiting by the phone to get an emergency CT scan done.

Cool

Evening everyone.

It hit 30.5 degrees earlier and apparently it’s going to get hotter over the next few days.

There's actually a Met Office Amber warning for extreme heat (33+ degrees estimated) in your neck of the woods for the next couple of days Bob.

Outside temp on the car got up to 32.5 on the M25 today..
Back to Norfolk via National Express on Friday to pick the Kia up but should be OK on an air conditioned coach with wi-fi so I can sit back and listen to Superbike qualifying from Brands.
