Missus has been cleaning the hall & wanted to lift the carpet as we're having the cavity under the living room/hall filled with insulation first thing tomorrow morning.

I said leave the carpet down because I wouldn't trust the three ninja cats, they're wily enough to lift the trapdoor up & get down in the cavity

Rain was expected at 14.00. It finally got here at 14.45. But I got the washing in 15 minutes earlier.

Managed to get the weeding done at the front, down the side and in the back garden. Started to trim the hedge but the battery died.

Roast chicken dinner with Yorkshire puds.

Lots of rain in the night. Overcast this morning though. Hoping to get the rest of the gardening done today. Then a trip up to the tip to get rid of the garden rubbish.
