Cool

Morning everyone.

On one side of the house we have wall to wall blue sky and on the t’other side we have very dark clouds. Rain is expected this afternoon.

Morning folks - cool & cloudy here with rain threatened for around teatime. We've had none of the heavy rain & thunderstorms that we were expecting - which means the garden is still bone dry and I'm going to have to use metered tap water to slake its thirst - £££ alarm bells ringing
Today's highlights include:
  • Taking SWMBO for her weekly physio appointment
  • Retrieving the recycling and garden waste bins after they've been emptied

Isn't life exciting

Morning. 2nd 5am rise of three, went back to bed again this morning though. Felt much aggrieved earlier, woke up and glanced at the clock, saw 4 but then refocussed my eyes, 4:59, alarm set for 5am . . . . I'd been done out of a minute's sleep

Weather much the same as it has been for days, lot of cloud around, bit of a cool breeze.

It's gone proper muggy again here,'orrible . Just back from Bolton general with Mam & clean bill of health on heart / pacemaker Since parkingeye took charge of the car parks there I've never seen them so empty It's usually a bus ride back to the hospital when you've found somewhere to park.
I bet plenty got fines over the last few weeks.

There's no hiding place with these cameras now, they're on every entrance & side road. Still don't understand why they sent me that £70 parking fine t'other week because you pay on exit with the contactless payment machine which I did Even shows you a pic of your car with registration & time of arrival on the screen.

I hate it when my wife is on dayshift. By the time she gets home, shower, food, faffs about don't get to bed before 11-11:30pm. She can fall asleep within minutes, not me, it can take me anything up to two hours to sleep. So, bed at 11pm, two restless hours, up at 5am, that's about four hours max sleep I get.

You'd better watch out south of the border later tonight. Immediately after the England-Scotland game channel 5 is showing Braveheart

That's why I'll never understand the saying "its a dog's life" Got Suzy and Maya lying at full stretch on the sofa, Pops has the other armchair to herself.
