Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Morning Jeff - not a cloud in the sky here this morning!

I think I’m in trouble with my neighbour tho’ - rain was really heavy last night and I think it has got into the solar panel of a set of led “twinkling lights” I set up on the pagoda. He is a “Radio Ham” and this set of lights does interfere with his reception

They were “twinkling” all night ...... oops....

I should have taken them down but a vicious rose grows round them so I just turned them off.

Looks like the rain had other ideas.

No! - a heat wave is just about upon us - this must be true as it was said in the Daily Express!!

So I have checked where the snow boots are and waxed the runners on the sledge.

Cool

Morning everyone.

No rain, nor any in the night, the sun is trying to break through.

Morning everyone.

We have that golden orb in the sky - and very welcome she is too .

Forecast is looking good. You never know it might even turn out as if it's May .

More bathroom stripping out to do and Quizzie has an appointment with Bertie for fun and lunacy this afternoon .

Have an enjoyable one.

Yuk! what a 'orrible morning. Low cloud obscuring the edge of the Moors, consistent heavy drizzle, cold & dark - it's more like "the dark days before Xmas" than the lead up to a Spring Bank Holiday.

Exactly what we had yesterday - as you say - just like the depths of winter. Even to the point of waking up to the central heating coming on.
