Morning folks - a bit hazy here this morning, and a tad cooler too.
The garden is looking very verdant (!) - a mixture of overnight rain and daily sunshine for the past few days has got everything growing.

Not only is it cold there's also spots of rain blowing about in the wind.

That's the soup cooked, blitzed, final simmer. Just need it to cool enough to decant it into containers for the freezer. Won't be having any myself, veg soup (chicken cubes, turnip, carrot, potato, herbs), I'm not a great fan of veg and its also got that green heath food stuff, moringa, in it

Blimey! if you want some exercise try chasing a cat to get him in the cat basket He's going in for a check up, He seems to have lost a little weight lately but is eating & doing toilet OK, got some worming tablets down his neck a couple of weeks ago but nothing in his stools.
Still spitting with rain here too.

If Pops suspects you are going to do something to her, approach with something in your hand, scissors or whatever, she's off, disappears under the reclining chair or behind the sofa.

Pleased to say the Bullfinches have reappeared, been absent for a while even though the RSPB website says they are supposed to be around here all year.

They're back & nothing amiss, He's also had his claws trimmed, He shot out of the basket like a rat out a drainpipe when we opened it I don't think we'll see much of him for the rest of the day
Me names like mud though! I said you wont need your coat as she was getting into the car to take him They had to wait outside until they were called in because of restrictions at the vets & the heavens opened lol

Something that might help to get him into the basket next time:

Try giving him a few meals in the basket. Make it random so he doesn't know when his meal is in its normal place and when it's in the basket.

He'll get used to finding his food and going into the basket to eat it so.....Basket = Food = Good Place to be

Good Luck.

Evening all ;been a grand day here. Sunny and warm all day
; been cleaning some very dirty conference style chairs today. As it was so warm I did them all outside so they dried really quick. Done 30 today but tomorrow I have another 40 to do that are pretty cleam as I did them a couple of years ago so they will only need a quick freshen up; but there are still another 28 easy chairs to clean on top of those
