Morning all - bah gum, it's a bit breezy out there. We've had a really strong blow during the night - wheelie bins and plant pots scattered all around the garden, Never mind, tomorrow is supposed to be warm and sunny - real shorts and T shirt weather

It was great to be outside with a loopy (wet!) dog and a good mate.

Although my son lives in Newburn I didn't know about Stephenson's cottage so it was educational as well as a good time .

Just got back "home" to my other son's house near Pelton after a bit over a hour on Longsands beach, Tynemouth.

Lovely weather, 16 degrees and some sunshine but a bit windy.

One tired Quizzie has already curled up .

We'll be back up again on babysitting duty in 3 weeks.

Oh, and following marinabrians magic hands the Tourer did just under 54mpg on the run up at a steady 70mph (ish) and cruised beautifully.
