Changed my mind - it's not a 'tad on the cold side' - it's flippin' freezin' - down to a biting Easterly wind coming in off the North Sea

Ours came yesterday and it is another massive grab - up 4.8% on last year. Last year was also a big hike.

Are you charged separately for the garden refuse bin to be emptied? We are here but I have not signed up for the service so don't use the brown bin supplied.

They used to roost I think somewhere on the roof of a nearby school, I suspect that a stop might have been put to that and caused them to move on.

I breed ring neck Doves as in the pics below.

I've put the open cat box up against the hole in the plasterboard with a small dish of water, Nowt as yet
The trouble is it's only a small fireplace with a 12" hearth, the chimney goes up dog legged & you cant get anything up there to trap it.

Afternoon all, Missus has gone doing THE BIG SHOP which hopefully means a fresh supply of Henry's apple juice.

I've been re-potting some turnips & Sprouts this afternoon, Some of the tomato seeds are showing signs of germination It's been a month for some of them, Still too cold & dismal I imagine.
My two Avocado plants have gone belly up since the freezing weather, I had the big stone pots of polystyrene & wrapped in bubblewrap in the greenhouse but that work

I'd have brought them indoors but the ninja cats destroy any plants.....little gets

Still nowt on the pigeon front Clearing out some stuff in the freezer to make way for fresh stuff so it's beef burgers & fish finger barm cakes for tea
