I used to have collared doves visit our garden on a daily basis. They are very inquisitive. One would sit on the fence and watch as I tended the garden. When cleaning the guttering from the flat roof of the garage on the side of the house two of them once watched me, one looking intently from a little way up on the hip of our roof and the other from behind me as it marched up and down the garage roof just a few feet away.

Good morning Steve, that’s interesting about the Collared Dove visits, I wondered why they stopped visiting. We have visits from the Mourning Doves and the Ring necked Doves to the bird table and the special tree on the edge of the forest where Jessica’s mum and sister are buried.

Cool

Morning one and all from breezy Cornwall.

It’s a bit overcast but the sun is trying it’s best to break through.

I’m off to have my feet checked over, I have to go every 3 months.

Morning all.

Dreary, grey and damp here. Due to pick up a bit then showers then decent. Looks like Quizzie's walk will be this afternoon .

Need to do a shopping trip for stuff like milk - it's all rock 'n' roll here .

Take care.

Good Morning everyone

As Andy has said "The Sun has got its hat on"

Better than that wind and rain

Eh bah gum - it's reet sunny out there this morning - but a tad on the cold side. Local council have just emptied the garden waste wheelie bin for the first time this year - definitely another sign of Spring springing. Mind you, the very same local council will shortly be issuing their annual Council Tax demand. They won't be very high on my popularity list when that flops through the letterbox
