The Fastback (in Vitesse Sport guise) is a super vehicle. In my view the best vehicle made by the group.

P5b best vehicle for the "older" driver. Really comfortable and solid engineering.

Always had something that's either Rover or a BMC/BL product in the family, as far as I can remember.
Triumph Herald
Morris 1100
Rover P4 80
Triumph Acclaim
Rover 213
Rover 220
Austin Metro

Rover 214SLi
Rover 213SE
Rover 216GTi
Rover 416SLi
MG ZS 120+
MG ZT
The last 6 were mine, 2 were my brother's and the rest were the folks. Stood no chance really!
Also been fortunate enough to drive a 827 Fastback, 623 GSi and a 420 GSi.

I started my career with an 998cc A series metro clubman, quickly upgraded that to a 114 GSi (sorely missed!) then went on to a 25 1.6IL which was a fantastic car but didn't make a good aeroplane...the landing was somewhat hard! when the insurance paid out for the 25 I went looking for a 75/ZT, my missus said I wasn't allowed a 75 but she wouldn't mind being seen in a ZT so I bought a 1.8t that was advertised locally, then a couple of years ago an early tomcat turbo popped up for sale so I went and grabbed it, it's still a rolling restoration but was put on the back burner when a ZT V8 popped up on on my wifes ebay, we went to look at it as it was number 002 so that is now parked on my drive as well needing a little attention but nothing insurmountable. I've had times when I've wanted to just push them off a cliff when they have been troublesome but never stopped loving MG Rovers.

(Ignore the white piece of shibble parked next to the tomcat!)

The tomcat is so majestic I genuinely didn't even notice the other car next to it.
