Today is our 57th wedding anniversary, where the years have gone I really don't know, anyway I have known Dawn for best part of 59 years we met at the Hampton Court fair, her and a friend were standing at a bus stop I offered them a lift they both got in, my car at that time was a Straight Eight black Buick with spare wheels on the running boards number plate was FXY 8.

I said this morning I want a divorce, she replied not until I have spent all your money LOL!.

ONLY KIDDING.

The keg of cider is 59 years old there is still liquid in it, probably paint stripper. she used to go too Devon on holiday with her Aunt and Uncle and this was the very first present she bought for me.
The flowers is what I have got for her.

Well, that was an interesting taste experience. Sister-in-law brought me a prezzie from M&S (I think they were a short shelf-life bargain). Cheese (mixture of mature Cheddar and Red Leicester) and Marmite flavoured Hot X Buns - with no fruit in 'em
I've eaten one - and given the rest to my next door neighbour

Missus has been trying to get in touch with the electricity board people all day with no luck They're supposed to be upgrading our shared loop electric system tomorrow and a courtesy call wold have been helpful as it's been going on since last November, I've been round the other two neighbours to let them know they'll need access to their old bakerlite fuse boards tomorrow as well.
I might be using brand new electric this time tomorrow instead of these owd 19th century stuff
