Default Light switches

Hi all
As you know this is my first 75. Only drove it on a night last night. The light switches are lit up all the time. Even after I turned the engine off and went into the house. Came back out looked in the window and they were still on. Should they be nothing else is just the alarm flashing.

If you turn the car off before turning the lights off, they stay on to "guide you to the front door" Perfectly normal, they should turn off after a certain time.
It's another clever Rover thing
Sorry, mis-read. There should be a small flashing red light on, this is the alarm. The switch shouldn't be lit

If you switch off the Ingnition with the lights on they will stay on for 30 seconds or longer - it was designed that way.

Have you got any water present in places you shouldn't have, this normally happens when your kbus wiring gets wet.

What make model and spec is the car? Does it have built in TV and sat nav, and does it have a sunroof?
