Default Whole engine of ZT 190

As mechanic drove into garage for water pump and belt change, the timing belt jumped pretty badly. No compression. Probably everything is bent inside.
Need new(used) but in good condition whole engine.

Could just be bent exhaust valves - well worth checking.

They said, You need to take heads off and check crankshaft etc, because there could be problem too, if it got hit. I donno, not a mechanic. Still if the charge for all parts is 1,500 Eur, it might be more reasonable to get new engine from scrappers.

Yes, unfortunately there could be more damage than just to the cylinder head. The local ex-dealer got given a free car suffering similar circumstances, he rebuilt the heads but after starting there was a regular knock further down in the engine.
No 190 engines for sale here, only regular Rover 2.5s, might not be so horribly expensive to get a used engine from UK.

Regards

I have a spare 190 engine but that's hell of a journey.

I did have spare complete 190 heads with valves fitted.

I will see if I still have them if your interested

If You have 190 engine, preferably with gearbox, i could send courier to pick it up. Still it will be cheaper than taking all apart and rebuilding it with new parts. I will have a mechanic to do the swap anyway. Don't want to mess up something. So let me know if You have that 190 engine, the price and location. Thanks
