Hi Ian

Great to hear from you Ian.

Yes I am in Poole Hospital at the mo, but due to be transferred to Bournemouth Hospital in next few days. That rather puts the 'kybosh' on visits at the moment, 'cause I'm not sure where I will be.
I'm in need of a 'Full Service', and Mot. Biggest problem is I'm running short of Oxygen again. Other fluids are dangerously low as well, so I'm in a bit of a pickle. NHS are doing a great job, and I will keep you up to date via the forum.

You and Jan take care.

Cheers

I remember having a broken toe treated in Poole General in 1976, I broke it springing up from the bottom of the Tropicana Pool at Rockley Sands holiday park. I have many cherished memories of Poole and Bournemouth. Get well soon Alf.

Hi Alf, are you at Bournemouth hospital?
I tried to pop in to see you yesterday. The reception was closed and I had to dial 0, on the phone, and got through to some jobsworth.

He wouldn't let me know what ward you were in, unless I told him your date of birth and the first line of your address and postcode.
Apparently, "the old *** that lives at Poole Quay" was not good enough!

Anyway, it is the thought that counts, mate.
The grapes were lovely and I am enjoying the car mags that I got you.

Look after yourself and hope we can catch up soon.
