Whole unit is back with Jeff to hopefully fit the correct screen this time. Hopefully it will all be worth the effort.

Hey Karl, does that mean anyone who was thinking of doing the same may as well give up on the idea??

Contact Sean, with mine it had been back twice so I did not want to risk another journey. The last Sean told me was that it was not available, I think it has been withdrawn from his website.

Hi Karl

Sorry to hear you still have screen problems.

I'm glad that I decided to go with the other option and change to 'Star'.

Unfortunately due to ill-health I haven't fitted it yet. When I do I am fitting several of the 'Options'. Front & Rear DVD Cameras (Looking for recommendation for rear), DTV, Dab, Rear View Camera, and TPMS.

When it's all fitted up I will post my findings.

Did you make any progress with you Audio Upgrade ? if so what did you do.

The TPMS unit I'm fitting could be interesting. I had one with my Nav 3, with the thief proof TX valves, but the unit proved faulty. The TPMS supplied with the 'Star' is different, but I'm hoping to use the same TX valves if I can.

I will post up when I've made some progress

Alf, i have abandoned the screen upgrade project. Unfortunately the factory just sent wrong screens and then when they did send the correct one they did not work with the Nav 3, even though they said they should. My Nav 3 is back in my car, I am waiting for Sean to come up with another solution in the future.
