I've now located my Navall Etar and yes - so far so good. On the Sat Nav part I had a loud male slurred voice advising the route detail - fixed that to a female at the volume level I required. However, the Sat Nav screen seems a bit wishey Washy (colour) and I seemed to have lost, after only a few hours, the speed figure which was portrayed on the bottom L H side.
I am awaiting the DAB items (on backorder) and when I locate its Arial i'll also move the Sat Nav receiver to the same place. Early days, but if anyone can advise on the MPH figure, I'd very much appreciate and thanks

Forget about the 'speed' which I've now resolved. I touched the large Speed number and scrolled down to the bottom left (into the small area there). It suddenly appeared in the bottom corner and half the size it was before - Just what I was hoping to achieve. Now, the Bluetooth has packed up so..some more reading and fiddling around the screen -

Default Steering Wheel Wiring

Hi Guys

Can someone tell me how I wire in my steering wheel controls now that I have changed from Navall 3 to 'Star', and using the new ISO lead that comes with 'Star'

Cheers

Hi Alf,

Exactly the same as your Navall3 Sir.

If you have the yellow/green/blue connector in the car still it's just a case of plugging that into the red connector on the Navall Star loom.

If you chopped it off then you will need to chop the red connector off the Navall loom and splice the orange and black wires to the blue/orange and blue/purple wires from the car loom

Hi Sir Jeff

There was not a red plug with my new 'Star' ISO ?

That's why I'm not sure what to connect the Blue/Orange - Blue /Purple to.

Am I going Mad

Hi Sir Jeff

Further to our phone conversation.

Therein lies the problem. The was 'Definitely' no Red Plug attached to my 'Star' ISO. I certainly have not cut one off, honest.

Can you confirm the colours of the wires that should go to the Red plug. In your picture they look like a Solid Black, and Solid Brown. When we spoke I thought you said Solid Black and Solid Purple.

I understand these are the two wires that should splice into the Blue/Orange - Blue/Purple that are In the car loom with the 'Grey' plug/socket at the end.

There is a solid black in the ISO Lead, but it looks like TWO solid purples, which can't be right. This is where I need your advice again. Can you give me the pin number or position of the correct solid 'Purple' that I should use.

I'm sorry if I seemed to question what you said on the phone, but that was not my intention. You've had more hot dinners then I have done jobs like this.

Is there any news on TPMS unit.

It's time I got this Bloo........ job done and dusted and got out of your 'Hair'.

As I must be your Main Supplier of stupid errors please let me know where I am wrong this time.

Cheers

Hi Alf,
