Default Chrome Lock Nut Cover

Hi

I bought some really nice looking chrome bolt covers but I can't find any similar covers for the circular lock nuts. Anyone have any idea if you can buy these and/or where I may find someone who could sell them?

Many thanks.

Default covers

If you mean the factory type wheel lock bolts then they are 19mm compared to the plain bolts which are 17mm. I had to buy a set of 20 on E bay as they are not available separately.

Many thanks ... yes I know the size of the bolts it's the circular chrome covers I can't find ... don't suppose you still have the eBay item number or how they were described do you?
Many thanks.

Easier to bin the lock nuts & fit normal ones, then all your chrome covers will match

Yes I'm getting close to that option now.

Just seen some cheapy 19mm hex chrome bolt covers (£5 for 20) and I was going to see if they would squeeze over the circular lock bolt. Then again it's £5 I could knock off the price of 20 new chrome bolts. A fairly reasonable set of 20 bolts can be purchased for around £25.

Whilst looking I saw a complete set of new bolts for the Rover 75 but there was only 16 in the set. I thought all 75's have/had 5 bolts per wheel? Unless they are selling 16 in the belief you would also buy 4 lock nuts?

I have eventually found the cover for the locking nut on eBay. If anyone is interested it can be found at http://ebay.eu/2e62fi6 (just have to spray them chrome).

When you add these little things together with the chrome covers for the other bolts I think I'll go for the chrome bolts and forget about a locking nut.

here you go,
Wheel Nut Caps Bolt Covers Chrome 19mm Hex 20 Pieces Plus Removal Tool | eBay There are at least three other suppliers of chromed 19mm caps on the same page. They are not circular by the way, they are the same shape as the 17mm caps.

Hi John,

I used he same Chrome Caps and found them very good. Look the part as well.

I don't worry about the wheel not lock. Tyres apart, is anyone going to steal my 'Crowns'
