I agree i think they look great and really suit the car.

Put some on that Bentley of yours, only half way though.

To be honest your Bentley looks stunning as it is, i personally wouldn't add anything to it.

I have often wondered what the Bentley/Rolls would have looked like with those fancy 'Flip' headlights used on american cars back in the day. (Lincoln Continental style)

Not very 'British' i suppose but i would have liked to have seen it as an 'Option'.

Agree, I've not touched it really. I did buy a new steering wheel in walnut and leather but that was direct from the factory and the drinks table in the back was an extra but the rest is all as Bentley intended. Of course no two of these cars are exactly the same because of the individual requirements of the owners when purchased new.

Does the film prevent degradation of the headlight? Or merely mask it?

No idea, time will tell. Probably it will leave a pattern on them. As I said just trying it they may stay, may get replacement Xenons or go back to standard headlights not decided.

Have had professionally polished twice and within 3 months back to square one despite trying to keep on top of things. No idea why particularly my lights suffer so badly, the area? Live near the sea! Of course it isn't glass but polycarbonate and that I suspect is the problem. I may change to standard headlights not decided. The car gets used just once or twice a month and is garaged so it's a bit beyond me why they just seem to cloud over sat in the garage

To be honest they look better now than the cataract look

We all do things to our cars that are not to everyone's taste, wait until I have the pink duotone done next week

Yes, it's the polycarbonate that degrades in UV light (i.e. normal daylight) - and there's probably more around the coast due to reflection. When manufactured they put a thin film of a UV absorbent/stabiliser on the lens surface. This stops the it from clouding throughout, but the film itself eventually succumbs to all the free radicals. Once you've abraided the cloudy layer off and repolished the plastic, it's even more vulnerable to the deadly UV. The only short/medium term answer is to re-apply another UV stabiliser layer, but that's not cheap to do correctly. Or, you keep abrading off the surface, so I guess the lens will ultimately disintegrate.
