Having now seen a few pics I have to admit the silver looks good!

The idea is to have a set of Hairpin alloys the same Rhodium silver as my dash.

The idea of a protective rim in the lighter silver could be a good compromise.

Edit

They are "AlloyGators"

Thanks Clive, thanks for the 'Alloygator' info, and thanks for the 'Gator Video'. I would like to do my present '75', but can't do it myself now , and to expensive to get 'Done'.

Hi Stu,

Great looking job. Well done. Like the MG Logo in white.

I've painted most of my brake callipers the same colour as the car, and always thought it best.

I think it's better than colour coding the whole wheel. Of course it varies based on the type of wheel.

All in my opinion of course

Assuming that this thread is referring to BRAKE calipers, I wish that the Mods would amend incorrect spelling in thread titles, as it makes us look like a Corsa Forum otherwise.

Not sure how I feel about coloured 75 calipers. The 75 is a little more 'classy' looking than the 'sportier' look of the ZT. Classy in my mind should be a little more understated, and sporty, should show its components a little more.

In the past I have done black hammerite on calipers, however, very quickly becoming a dull black, and looked dirty quickly. Like a faded black.

For me, if I had a 75, I would look for a pale gold. Like an anodised gold, perhaps even a mix of 1 part blue, 1 part silver to 8 parts gold - I have thought a lot of this! lol . Silver, I think would be too bright, and too similar to the wheels, so as you walked past, the wheels would look chunkier.

Because I have a silver car, I wanted a highlight colour, but didnt want red, too many cars with red. Didnt want yellow, because the colour would be carried through the car interior too. Thought of the anodised gold, but again I wanted it through the car. Dont like green, blue was still relatively common, but taking it through the car, works too. So blue (with a gold mg badge on them it was.

I do so wish that contributors would not use contractures on the open forum.... Surely you are refering to the MODERATORS. ?
It does make one sound as if we are from West Cheam....
