To be honest calipers are not the prettiest of things, paint them black and let the beauty of your Serpents catch the eye instead.

I've painted mine silver with hamerite brush on.

I have also painted the wife's mini convertible calipers the same colour it makes them look like new.

It's down to personal taste at the end of the day.

Black and silver for the factory look.

Red for the racey look

Blue for the I don't know what look but it's just not a good one

Green for the Racing green models

Yellow for the yellow models

Gold humm not sure.

Just my opinion

I'm not sure blue on blue would work but I think painted calipers look well on the 75

I think 'Blue' the same as the car. In keeping with the class.

Has anybody done their wheel rims. Same as car or other colour.

Has anyone used the protective coloured rims, I think their called alligators ?

Hi Alf - I always loved my Alloys on the Discovery and RR where the wheels were a dark silver and the rim was highlighted in a lighter silver as per the link below.

As I have a spare set of Hairpins I am currently renovating the spares and have a mind to copy the idea - however the rims on the hairpins are not as well defined as as on the LR alloys.

The idea is to have a set of Hairpin alloys the same Rhodium silver as my dash.

The idea of a protective rim in the lighter silver could be a good compromise.

Edit

They are "AlloyGators"
