Polly - I would try either the vocalizer voice or the non-tts voices to check.
Personally I have not had any issue with late prompts so there may be some connection.

Thanks Sir Jeff.

I understand the delay, but what upgrade would be available to me.

Are there any firmware changes to 4.4.2

Just something else I found on Nav 3. Screen glare. I left my protective screen cover on, and glare was not to bad. Then I took it off and glare was awful. I went to fit the protective screen back on, but the rubbish bin beat me to it.

'Got any screen protectors',

Thanks for your help

Hi Alf,

That screen protector is just a packaging thing, it isn't a proper one

I would think Amazon or eBay would have 7" screen protectors for tablets and such like that would do the job well.

I think if memory serves me the Navall3 update will be a jump to 6 so no updates needed until this gets released

Alf, I have bitten the bullet and decided to upgrade my screen on the Navall 3 to the Navall Star specification. Reading the reviews on the Star i think it will be a worthwhile upgrade. I am sure Jeff can vouch for the clarity of the screen vs the glare of the old screen

I asked Sean if he would do the upgrade and after asking the factory and with help I'm sure from Jeff he is offering the upgrade.

It came to just over £81.00 for the upgrade, Jeff's work and return postage a good price for I hope a worth while upgrade

Might be worth a look.

Hi Karl,

Screen change is certainly worth considering, but I've got to check 'piggy' to see if I've got enough.

Are you able to make the Poole Meet on the new date 25th. Be great if you could make it.

Cheers

Never had an issues with iGo except loosing the custom pointer a few times. Mines set to show on screen and talk the next direction and its worked everytime.without fail. I havent changed anything in the settings from new.
I have found if you select fastest route it takes you on some very interesting roads, but any other setting and it'll take you main road routes regardless if the destination is 10 mins away. Still a million times better than my sense of direction so its alllllll good

I have PM'd Sean to see if progress can be made on the replacement screen.

Just waiting to hear back from him.
