These are nearest to you T4 wise, not sure if they can do keys, however Marinabrian can do a postal service. I think you need to send your immobiliser unit located behind the light switch,to him along with original key.. Don't quote me on that ,but if you send Brian a PM,he will tell you what you need to do.

I don't think MGR South Devon does keys, he's not in Brian's replacement keys thread. I think your closest may be cb750chris in Portsmouth.

We can offer this service for you. We can supply the remote and get the key cut and reprogrammed but we would need the car for a full day.
PM me if you want to know more and I can let you know the procedure and cost

Is this a replacement via X-Part, or are you doing the entire job in house?

If it's the latter and you'd like to be included on my list of key suppliers, please let me know

Cheers

The thread is entitled lost key so does this mean he hasn't got a key with the immobiliser fitted and needs a complete new key?

I am guessing dave the spare he has is from another car hence the need to interface the transponder with immobiliser, problem being immobiliser has to be present when key is done but exeter lot better than newcastle

Sadly second hand transponders cannot be reprogrammed, the remote board can however be reused, provided you know how to generate the required barcodes to enable the key to be paired with the BCU.

So, yes the immobiliser must be removed and read using the appropriate equipment (not T4) and a virgin transponder programmed to one of the vacant slots in the immobiliser.

I'm sure the OP will get sorted one way or another though
