Having just read through the entire thread, the word over-reaction comes to mind.

I have to say that I expected to see a few apologies to the "trader" concerned for the immediate over-reactions and the near-calls for a "public flogging".

Disappointed at the lack of a single apology to the person in over 20 minutes.

ps - can we not get back to having the old "which oil is best" arguments? They were less harmful and didn't have the potential to affect people's businesses and livelihoods.

If the original owner of the effected part would care to contact me then I will refund them in full with my open apology for them having a problem.

If I were a big business charging a fortune, I could understand a person being upset, I would be.. but I am not, I am just a hobbyist who is trying to provide a service with a small margin to make it worth doing.

There are lots of folks out there who are happy with the bits and bobs I have done over the last year, and I thank them for their patronage, but as has been said reputation is all, and thanks to unthoughtful posting, mine is now gone.

I must take some time to consider whether to stay in the club as a trader..

There are no excuses, I did everything with mostly the wish to give folk a little something to lift their joy of ownership... now that joy for me at least seems to have left me.

I do have to wonder how many clutches were done twice, how many spare ecu's etc are carried in case of a misshap.... well, it matters not.

Tom, if this is yours, you have my apology and a refund of course.

Very happy with my LED conversion IPK from Klarzy, been working fine for some months now...
I suggest that folks remember he Is providing a service which many of us appreciate, looks like there are many soldering 'Experts' out there, amazing how when a mistake Is made they all appear to give their Informed opinion!
I'm most certainly not a soldering expert, but I do like to customize my pride & joy with the help of members of this club.
Thank you Klarzy, and thank you to everyone else on the club who offer their services, paid or unpaid, to help us all keep and maintain our MG's & Rovers on the road....
Keep up the good work, and as a note...., I work for a global corporation, with fail safe everything.... and yet mistakes still happen and customers get angry!!!

I have had work done on my IPK by Klarzy, and watched him do it at his house. There is nothing wrong with his attention to detail and workmanship. He has a lot of experience in is field, and he knows what he is doing.
I'm shocked at the underhand way that someone would post pictures here without contacting him first, potentially affecting his business. He offers a guarantee with his work.

Klarzy don't fall for it.

one thing I will say.... those burn marks.... staining from no clean liquid flux, I have just looked at another board which I have... it boils on contact with the iron leaving a residue which discolours over a week or so...

matters not....

Well I still can't understand why if you had a job done why you would take it to bits taking pictures and plastering them all over here instead of contacting the repairer and arranging to send it back?
