I see there is a DOT5.1 which is PAG and compatible with DOT 4 applications. How confusing is that likely to be? (DOT 5.1 is just a higher temperature version of DOT 4 it seems)

You could always just change the fluid every four years... dot 3 or 4 for the clutch, and dot 4 for the brakes.

I personally like Girling Crimson, from a 30 year old tin I found in the back of the garage

Blimey Brian that takes me back its too old for dot clasification more like dash
If its been open I dont expect its much good now more water than glycol

Had a tidy myself yesterday, found all sorts of old tot
Anybody want 5 13mm sockets and 3. 10mm. seem to have kept buying them when my sons knick them I now have rail after rail of sockets in all styles in triplicate and enough plusgas to derust the Titanic

Did mine the other day serviced calipers and honed cylinder stops on a sixpence now ....
Or for you younger chaps that preffer metric about two and a half new pence

Doc, you need to come down here end of june when we have feast week, starts with live concerts on the harbour the first day, we do the flora dance during the week, fireworks on the harbour last day.

Give us a shout next time your down. Im sure we can find a pub or two to go into.
