saw said item in Aldi to day looked like a tidy piece of kit ,clips on your sun visor and priced at £39.00 not bad I thought ,any one had or got any thought's on it I think it would be handy cos you can move it from car to car.

sounds interesting... am I right in thinking that it must have a built in speaker? Is this unit quite big?

I've got a Pama Bluetooth Handsfree which I got off of ebay about a year ago. It cost me about £60 and I think it works quite well. It's got a built in speaker and microphone and is very clear but it has to be clipped on to the sunvisor, which I find rather awkward at times, because you can't easily move the sunvisor without moving the position of the Bluetooth device.

The Law on Using Handfree Phones in car says that the Phone must be fitted to a Proper cradle or any other permanent fitting, would that make this item illegal in UK?

That's a very good point. I think I'll fit a "Parrot". I'll go off and have a look on ebay right away!

Very Good John!!!

Seriously though, I've ordered myself a Parrot CK3200 now. I just hope I can conceal the screen fairly easily. I'm not sure whether they're removable.

I have the nokia 616 which i am most impressed with. There is a picture in my gallery. You dont have to have the handset installed you can have the small button wheel thing for more discreet install!

I got one of these Parrot Bluetooth Handsfree units:

Took it apart and reassembled it to fit inside the light cluster as below:

The power and speaker are fixed inside, the mike mounted up-front and the knob and buttons mounted in the blank for the sunroof switch.
