What type of flare.
Hi.
I have had to cut off the NSF brake pipe where it meets the flexible caliper pipe, no way could I undo the nut. I have a new flexible pipe but need to put a new flare on the metal pipe. Can anybody tell me which type of flare I need to create, I think it might be a bubble. I have the necessary tool and new nut. Thanks. Pete. |

Just done mine and it is indeed a bubble. Make sure you have the correct male replacement fitting. The ones that came with my replacement pipe on eBay had the wrong profile and wouldn't seal .

JonMs, checked fitting type and seemed to match, used bubble flares and no signs of a leak.
Thanks Pete. |
