I would inform the Police and ask them to create a brief incident report to include your details and of course the vehicles. They may even make some enquiries with the registered owner of the vehicle on your be half to try and assertain what the owner plan's to do with it, if anything

I'll be down there around midday, but in the meantime, it's only a few yards North of the roundabout on the A15/Sleaford to Grantham road....

No gave up in the end as I had a member waiting at the unit for a rear blind fit.

The fact that the rear number plate has been attempted to be pulled off, I would take as an abandoned car.
