Default Tyre eating monster

I have owned this car for a year now and although i absolutely love the car i would never have bought it had i known how bad it would be on tyres. I got 8000 miles out of 2 vredestein sessantas and am now nearly through the front set of kumhos, 8500 miles. I have had my tracking checked and i dont drive like a racing driver, most of my driving is done on rural roads. Has or is anyone else experiencing anything like this.

No!

Bought my ZT-T and thought the tyres would need changing inside 1000 miles. Ran them for 6000 before it was necessary, so your mileage looks way out.

Try taking your car to a good wheel center that do 4 wheel laser alignment.

I got 18K on the first set. Second set nearly new still. These cars have to be tracked correctly front and back or you'll pay a heavy price in rubber.

it all depends on the quality of tyre and the compount of the tyre. cheaper do tend to wear quicker

ZT-T 120 - Replaced all 4 tyres yesterday, Goodyear 215 x 50 x 17, as fitted when new. Got 16500 miles out of them in 30 months. Not a lot of Motorway miles, mainly A and Rural. Booked in for Laser tracking on Friday, weather permitting...
Cheers,
Martin
