mja2tw, to the club.

That looks a very nice car you've got there
If my budget had been a bit bigger I would have definately gone for that one.

Make sure you read up about the plenum drains

Latest on mine is that I've been in touch with Dave and he remembers the car quite well and the launch where it was the car everyone wanted a look at.
It was with Richardsons for around 5 months or so.
Only one of the Directors and himself drove the car.
He said it was then sold to a local man, the last time he saw the car was in 2002 which ties in with the service history.

He says he will see if he can get hold of any pictures of the car, which would be great.
He's also going to show the pictures that I sent him to others to see if those wheels were on it during it's time there but can't remember them as being on the car.

Russ

Oh no, does that mean I've got to put my spare Crowns on it.

Russ.

Here is a picture from Rover brochure, the 75 shown has non-standard alloys,

that said they are 16" X spokes but similar to your wheels.

It shows that not all early 75's were fitted with Crowns or Serpents.

Wow! look at the finish on that Wedgwood Blue 75.

One thing I have notice is that it seems to have a very good finish to the paintwork.

I wonder if the launch cars had an extra coat of laquer applied same as they did with the press cars?

Rover used this Wedgwood Blue 75, 117 AYN in several brochures dated 1999 and 2000.

It is shown with different various acessories fitted, eg. door finishers, painted mudflaps, roof rails and a roof box.
In some pictures it is shown fitted with Serpent alloys.
