The polls aren't from the BBC but from polling groups.

I would say more if rather than when, changes have already been made, more will be afoot.

I tend to stay out of all this sort of stuff, dont know a great deal about all the ins and outs of it. I can understand why the scotts want independence. But what politicians can you trust they all promise the earth then give nothing and thats on both sides. They all lie they all tell you what you want to hear. What worries me is on both sides it will not benifit the working man. The only ones in the end that will benifit is the very rich. Yes if scotland gies on its own the english parliament will have less to pay out, will we see any of the money no we wont. The scotts will have to find more funds to keep the country running, so that must mean higher tax, again from the working man or women.
Thats the way I see it anyway lol. The other worring thing is the 2 people that are surposed to be the politicians cant even have a conversation with out arguing like 5 year olds.

well 3 of the polls only asked people 18 and over so that makes them null and avoid immediately as 16's and over can vote in the referendum. The rest I would still take with a pinch of salt. All the polls in 2011 were way off the mark when the SNP gained a majority in Scotland, none of them predicted that!

It's only 1000 people's opinion at a given moment in time.

Only Sep 18th will tell the truth.

Wrong. Scotland pays more into Westminster than we get out of it.

1000 people is the norm for any poll. No more no less. It's a reasonable scale of people.

As an aside, if the polls are right and there is a clear majority saying NO what then?

That mite be true at the present but scotland will be no different than westminster lol. They will give more people useless pen pushing jobs, then you will get the fat cats sitting in there big offices taking thousands of pounds a year in wages with some posh job tittle doing what a 16 year old apprentice could do. Then its all down hill from there lol.
Spain, greece, portugal, and many other countrys where all doing quite well until they took all there own currency away and went to the euro. I know its a bit different but I say if it works leave it alone.

Then I cry, sulk, probably do some comfort eating and accept that's what the majority want. And start praying UKIP's support dissipates and the Tory's are spectacularly ousted at the next GE.

You would feel differently if you were Scottish. We are Scottish. Yet we're governed by another country. Another country that has proved time and time again not to have our best interests at heart. Believe me, if you were Scottish, you'd feel different.

Do you honestly think if that were true, Westminster et al would be trying so hard to hold onto Scotland? If that were true Cameron would already be signing the divorce papers with a party hat on
